POLE PLATES AND LAMELLA BLOCKS

WALMAG MAGNETICS supplies lamella blocks and additional pole plates as accessories for rectangular and circular chucks.These accessories widen the range of the chuck usage. They can be placed loosely or mechanically fixed. With the standard chuck, it is then possible to clamp even components of irregular shape. 

• Lamella blocks and additional pole plates WALMAG MAGNETICS s are not magnetic by themselves, they only lead the magnetic flow.
• Their advantage is the possibility to machine more components in one working cycle without unfastening and re-clamping.
• They are designed from steel lamellas of the 3 mm thickness and divided with brass lamellas of the 1 mm thickness, other pole pitches are available on request.These accessories are placed on the pole plate of the magnetic chuck; after its switching on, the magnetic flow is led through the additional accessories.
• They can also serve as the side support in the case when the surface contact with the chuck is not sufficient for a high workpiece, e. g. hollow thin-wall components.
• Further they can be used as a reducing plate with fine poles for clamping of small components for which the base chuck poles are too wide.
• Lamella blocks and additional plates are very stable thanks to the special production process - brazed with silver.
• Lamella blocks are joined  neither with bolts nor with screws, so that they can be further adjusted for your needs.
• The technology of  WALMAG MAGNETICS lamellas, lamella blocks and plates production allows to construct an equipment of any shape and size.
